Parents just don't understand! Peer support groups are a place where youth can find the group they gel with and talk about the things they are going through. Each group has a trusted adult for consultation when things get too heavy but otherwise the groups run themselves and offer great support to their members. Group leaders coordinate and schedule meetings, facilitate discussions and get paid whenever funding is available.
